Wayne Senior joined Wintec in 2004 bringing with him his extensive musical knowledge and experience as an; arranger, orchestrator, conductor, musical director and educator, for more than 60 years in New Zealand, Sydney and Perth, Australia and Eau Claire Wisconsin, USA. This career included crafting arrangements for International luminaries such as Jazz trumpet master Bobby Shew (USA) and acting as musical director for many leading New Zealand artists. Initially lecturing principally in Song Arranging and Instrumental Composition he also lectured in The History Of Popular Song (investigating its roots in Western Music), Ear Training, Music Theory and assisted in the development of curricula.

Wayne is an extremely versatile arranger and composer with an immense body of work covering a wide range of genres.  His experience is legendary and he knows how to innovate and transform while staying true to the underlying intent and purpose of the music.  Always a gentleman, Wayne’s enthusiasm and encouraging attitude make any musical project or situation a pleasure.
